About Me

Hello There!

I am Emily De Leon, a current full time student at UC Riverside studying Sociology. At the moment, I am looking for a job that will give me the opportunity to study people’s behaviors and an understanding of why people do what they do. I hope this job will assist me in reaching my dream career to become a criminal investigator.

Throughout my multiple accomplishments, I have learned to not procrastinate and be organized with the tasks I am given and to never give up on those tasks. I collaborate and communicate well with others and this has given me an understanding of social differences and power. In my free time, I enjoy watching crime shows or movies, playing games related to crime, and helping others.

    • KYCC staff and volunteers remove thousands of bags of trash from the streets
    • Objective: Not only to keep our community clean and a place to be proud of, and to keep litter from clogging our sewers and polluting our oceans

    Coastal Clean Up

    • Location: Sepulveda & Culver City
    • Pick trash & recycle to clear a path for the bike path, and help keep waste away from the ocean
